The Snake River Valley AVA is an American Viticultural Area in Southwestern Idaho. A petition to recognize the AVA was granted in 2007. For wines to bear the Snake River Valley AVA label, at least 85% of the grapes used for production must be grown in the designated area. The AVA encompasses 15 wineries, 46 vineyards, and 1,800 acres of commercial vineyard production.
Sunnyslope is considered the center of the AVA.
Sunnyslope has something special to offer for each season of the year. Fragrant fruit blossoms in the spring, aromatic mint fields in the summer, vibrant colors in the fall, and warm tasting rooms in winter.
The Sunnyslope Country Home is an ideal launching point for a weekend of exploring on the Sunnyslope Wine Trail. We’d love to have you.
